Dr. Gurdev Singh is a board-certified practicing Nephrologist in Phoenix, Arizona. He did his Internal Medicine residency at Geisinger Medical Center and Fellowship in Nephrology at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY.

Dr. Singh is currently a partner at Southwest Kidney Institute, PLC (SKI), and serves as a member of its Executive Board as Vice President of Finance. He is also the Chairman of SKI’s IT department.

He is a founding member of Renal Care Organization (RCO) and serves as its CIO. Additionally, he serves on the DaVita Falcon physician advisory board and athenahealth physician advisory board.

Dr. Singh also sits on the Health Information Management Systems Society (HiMSS) Ambulatory Committee and is a liaison to HiMSS Clinical Business Intelligence committee. He is passionate about creating and implementing automated processes across the organization, using IT tools and Analytics with the goal of driving Quality outcomes and improving patient care while achieving financial success.

He has successfully spearheaded several projects at SKI. This includes implementation of mobile charge capture application (pMD soft) resulting in improved and timely collections, and implementation of athenahealth EHR across the organization. He is currently working on developing a data warehouse with advanced analytic tools, integrating data within RCO.

He is an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Midwestern University and is actively involved in the teaching of Medical and Physician Assistant students. He is Medical Director for the SKI-DaVita Sweetwater dialysis unit, and an active member of the several physician organizations. He also serves on medical staff and committees for several hospitals. He is also actively pursuing business education through ACPE for personal and professional growth.

On a personal note he is a road bike enthusiast and loves to travel with his family.
